Harly Wax: The Finest Carnauba Car Wax in the World Since 1956
There is No Substitute for Genuine Harly Wax!
Harly Wax® is a pure carnauba wax that produces the deepest, glossiest shine on any type of paint finish. It is easy to apply, easy to buff off and it gives your car an incredible wet-look shine. After just one application you will see for yourself that Harly Wax® is the finest carnauba wax in the world.
Harly Wax® is distributed exclusively in North America by Harly Wax USA.
The World's Finest Carnauba Wax
Numerous synthetic, man-made products have been designed to protect the finish on your car. However, there is one natural compound that is superior to synthetics: carnauba wax. Carnauba wax is derived from the leaves of a palm plant that is grown only in the harsh mountains of northeastern Brazil. It produces a glossy finish that makes it an ideal automotive wax.
NOT Available in Stores
The finest and most costly grade of carnauba wax is Number One Yellow. Harly Wax® is guaranteed to be made in small batches from the highest grade of hand selected Number One Yellow Carnauba Wax, and it is priced accordingly. For this reason, you will not find Harly Wax® in the auto parts store.
Harly Wax® is a pure carnauba paste wax that is easy to apply and easy to remove. Liquid waxes on the market simply do not measure up to Harly Wax®. They do not provide the deep shine that turns a good paint job into a brilliant paint job. Unlike the majority of waxes available today, Harly Wax® contains no cleaners, powders, abrasives, or PTFE sealants. This is crucial to protecting the finish on your car, because products containing cleaners, powders or abrasives remove some of your vehicle’s finish every time you wax.
Outshining the Competition Since 1956
Harly Wax® was created in 1952 by Harly Squires, a California chemist. After years of experimenting with carnauba flakes, Harly came up with a formula that significantly outperformed every other wax on the market. He named his formula Waxomatic and by 1956 it became so popular that its manufacturing facility could not keep up with demand. Later that year, a local businessman and friend, Bruce Badger, tried Waxomatic on his car. He was so impressed with the high gloss shine that he bought the company and renamed the formula Harly Wax® after its creator. Bruce Badger manufactured Harly Wax® in El Segundo, California, and later moved to a larger facility in Long Beach, California.
Harly Wax® quickly gained a cult following among the hot rod and custom car fraternity. By 1965, it had become the wax of choice at the famous Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and it continues to be used by many of its entrants to this day.
As an example of its excellence, America’s most famous custom car builder, George Barris, used Harly Wax® on many of his amazing Hollywood show cars.
More recently, a London-based detailer used Harly Wax® to prepare some of the cars for Prince William and Kate Middleton's 2011 Royal wedding.
At the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed, Harly Wax® gave some of the show cars on the Cartier Lawn’s famous Concours d’Elegance an award-winning shine.
Harly Wax® is very easy to apply with a soft pad and it hazes in about 15 minutes. The excess then buffs off with ease, leaving a wet look finish. Many Harly Wax® users find that the finish improves each time they wax, since Harly Wax® builds on the surface, increasing the depth of shine.
Once you have tried Harly Wax® on your new car or classic car, you will realize why carnauba wax is known as the “queen of waxes.” There is simply no finer natural compound available to enhance your vehicle’s finish. Accept no substitutes!
